Prior to seminary, however, Kurt spent the early part of his career working for a large multinational manufacturing company in various roles within a production plant. At the same time, Kurt began growing and honing his leadership skills while serving in various leadership roles within his local church. It was there that Kurt leaned into a call into both seminary and subsequently, full-time vocational ministry. During seminary, Kurt served in his first vocational ministry role in a church in the Quad Cities (IA/IL), before making the big change to serve a church in Sioux County, IA in November 20
