About Us I’m JP Field. I farm here with my wife Cheslee on this beautiful land. My goal is to connect with nature through food, and through the glorious, challenging, and sacred activity that is farming. I don’t come from a farming background. I was born in Argentina, and lived in the enormous city of Buenos Aires. My family then moved to the United States, and finally to Canada. My family bought this land in 2020 and I’ve been farming here ever since. I studied philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), and did a variety of odd jobs, most of them outdoorsy or nature-related. Also did WWOOFing – which means I volunteered on a handful of small farms for a short time while
