Welcome to the Authentic Italian Traditional Singing Technique! I’m Rafael Vázquez, operatic tenor turned vocal coach. After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama under Adrian Thompson,I trained 6 years with James McCray, a rare bridge between two legendary schools: The Melocchi school, via Mario & Rina Del Monaco, focused on Affondo and the García and Roman school lineage, through Stracciari, Borgioli and Martinelli systematized by Raymond Buckingham.
