Description
Language learning, especially Gaeilge, the literary (poetry, fiction), with Tracy Ryan, poet & novelist, writer living in a household of writers. First language English, learned French at school; at university more French (BA Hons UNE) (DALF C2), German (Goethe-Zertifikat C1) & Italian (così così). Qualified as French & English teacher Grad Dip Ed Murdoch University; PhD (Eng) UWA. Started learning Irish in 2013 on & off, resuming more consistently from 2025. I can't teach it to anyone, but can share how I'm learning, what works & what doesn't.
