This channel is a research archive dedicated to the music of Sun Ra. My mission is to facilitate the continued echoing of the Arkestra’s cosmic vibrations across the omniverse. I maintain a repository of rare, out-of-print, and non-commercial recordings—primarily audience tapes—for the dedicated researcher. My weekly curated mixes, premiering every Sun-day, explore the Sun Ra discography using commercially available material to highlight specific moods, keywords, and eras. This space also serves as a hub for research, including companions to my WCBN radio program, SUN RA IS ON THE AIR, and explorations into personnel and history.
