The Growler - Blackwood N Gauge Layout

Welcome to the channel where you will find videos documenting the building of my N Gauge layout - Blackwood. The layout was started back in 2008 and has never technically been finished - what layout ever is! The layout moved to a purpose built garden building in December 2020. In 2021 I built two helixes to allow access to new under baseboard storage. In late 2023 I realised the layout could be a little bigger by utilising around 19 inches of unused space down one side of the layout. Early 2026 will see the part rebuild of this extension complete. Work will then commence to rationalise further track on the other side of the layout. This is in preparation for the layout being switched over to DCC at some point in the future.
