Joey – 2023 Joey Polisena sniffs books, magazines, and other paper things (there is brain-tickle in the fibers and ink). Of all the words pressed to her skin, her favorites are: Mom, Poet, and Friend. This former journalist embraced opportunities and developed into an IT instructional designer. Joey self-published two poetry collections, “ All Shards & Paste ” (2019) and “ Happy Place ” (2024), in print, ebook, and audiobook formats, and has published pieces in several magazines and anthologies .
