Description
Liberated Muse Arts Group creates interdisciplinary and interactive experiences that highlight the history and culture of people of the African diaspora, particularly the work of women who have used their platform for social justice. Founded and led by Creative Director Dr. Khadijah Ali-Coleman, Liberated Muse Arts Group has been transforming spaces into art places since 2008. Dr. Ali-Coleman is also founding director of Black Writers for Peace and Social Justice, and co-founder of the national education research group, Black Family Homeschool Educators and Scholars, LLC (BFHES). Khadijah Z. Ali-Coleman served as the second Poet Laureate of Prince George's County, MD from 2023-2025. This channel highlights performances by Liberated Muse Arts Group, videos of Liberated Muse and Black Writers for Peace and Social Justice events and Dr. Khadijah Z.
