MOTHER CALYPSO exists to document - honestly- what it takes to become a queer mother in the UK. From NHS funding to donors, emotional turbulence to grounding truths. This is not just my story. It’s for every queer person navigating systems that weren’t built for us. I’m bringing you along from the very start for the real, raw ride. Through my eyes I capture the emotional, spiritual and practical realities of an IVF journey as an interracial lesbian couple from London, while stepping into the energetic archetype of 'MOTHER' to educate you all on the process along the way(!) I'm removing the veil between you and me… which is pretty scary, I won’t lie. So that together we can become more educated, empathetic and empowered about the journey queer humans have to embark on to bring life into this world.
