LISA STEELE is a 5th generation chicken keeper and creator of Fresh Eggs Daily®. She lives on a small farm in the Maine woods with her husband, their two corgis, and flock of chickens, ducks, and geese. For nearly 20 years Lisa has been sharing advice on raising backyard flocks as well as "coop to kitchen" recipes using fresh eggs from her coop and seasonal produce from the garden. The author of 6 books on raising backyard flocks which have sold nearly 200,000 copies, her debut "The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook" was published in 2022. Her 2nd cookbook, In Season, hit store shelves in May 2026 and her 3rd cookbook will be released in Sept 2027. Lisa has been on The Today Show, NPR's Here & Now, HGTV's Martha Knows Best, Hallmark Home & Family Show, Dr. Oz, The View and in the New York Times, Womans Day, Farmers Almanac, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fox New, CNN, Martha.com and The Splendid Table. She also produced and hosted the award-winning show "Welcome to my Farm" on CreateTV/PBS.
