What might cinema become? Now that we have amazing digital tools and distribution a filmmaker can produce feature-length dramas akin to a proper movie. For hobby money. Most people are using this to create genre movies - here we discuss other options. What if you are an auteur director? Who aims to play with the cinematic language/s and audience/s? This podcast is for you then. And for me - cos I have not been able to find what I am looking for in this. There are some excellent film podcasts and vodcasts - mainstream and independent - but I've not yet found what I hope this to be. A discussion of all the opportunity cinema offers now? I have a PhD in cinema and eye movement therapy - which could be useful to making films and evaluating past classics too. I coach creators. I do some client film work as well - music videos, docco's, promo's. And community arts. This income is just about enough for me to make no-to-lo-budget experimental feature films. And I ain't the only one.
