Dr Elaine Kasket is a cyberpsychologist, chartered counselling psychologist and author who writes and speaks about the human side of technology. For two decades she has explored how digital life and AI reshape our relationships, identity, work, privacy and grief, with a particular focus on digital afterlives, grief technology and what happens to us, and our data, when we die. She is the author of Reset: Rethinking Your Digital World for a Happier Life (2024) and All the Ghosts in the Machine: The Digital Afterlife of Your Personal Data (2019), and a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Death and Society, University of Bath. A regular commentator on AI companions, grief technology, digital wellbeing and online relationships, she appears across international media including CNN, the BBC and CBC, keynotes worldwide, and performs true stories at The Moth.
