Description
Founded in 2016, the Center for Appellate Litigation’s Books Beyond Bars program has sent over 10,000 books to people in prisons and jails across New York. BBB’s mission is to ensure that anyone who is incarcerated in this State has access to any book they want or need, whether for education, self-empowerment, personal growth, or simply a brief escape from the dehumanizing effects of incarceration.
