Description
Carrie Severson is a burnout, author, speaker, and caregiver. I Saved You. Now, Do the Dishes is her latest project. It highlights her story of caregiving and advocacy for her husband through his cancer journey. She shares tips about how to advocate in today's healthcare system, as well as how caregivers can take care of themselves. She first experienced burnout in 2012 when she created and ran a nonprofit for girls that grew nationally. She wrote about her experience with burnout in Unapologetically Enough, which led to burnout recovery keynotes for Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and healthcare networks nationwide. When she isn’t leading audiences through exercises to retrain their nervous systems, Carrie acts as the CEO of the Unapologetic Voice House, a hybrid book publishing business. In addition to her memoir, she has The Enoughness Method, Burnout Recovery Affirmation Cards, and is releasing her next memoir on cancer and caregiving soon.
