Profile Yohei Hayakawa — Born in Yokohama, 1980. After working as a newspaper reporter for the Chugoku Shimbun and elsewhere, he founded his own company in 2008. He has interviewed across countries and disciplines, from leading figures such as Yuzuru Hanyu, Banana Yoshimoto, Kenzo Takada and Kevin Kelly, to people whose names no one knows. Since 2013 he has also run Memories of War, a project recording and sharing the voices of those who lived through WWII. His media production credits include We Are Netflix Podcast @ Tokyo, Radio Museum (Yokohama Museum of Art), and Ira Ishida's After-School Radio for Grown-ups. He is the author of The Power of Meeting People: The Simplest and Strongest Guide to Getting the Appointment (Shinchosha).
