Practical Lexicography

Description

Practical Lexicography is the art of compiling, writing and editing a new dictionary! ...but it also means more than that to me. Practical Lexicography is a project I started nearly 10 years ago when I first began university. I made it my goal to look up every new word that I encountered to expand my vocabulary. Each time I heard or read a word that I was unfamiliar with, whether in a conversation, lecture, book, or podcast, I looked it up and took a screenshot on my phone for safe keeping. After finally graduating 21st grade...and over 500 words later...I am excited to share this personally curated lexicon that I have compiled along the way. As a matter of fact, I am still collecting new, great words till this day! It is now Practical Lexicography's mission to give back and help others expand and develop their own personal lexicon...and I cannot wait to "see you on the next word!"
