As the Atlanta suburbs continued to spread, and with the final completion of GA-400 in 1993, people were moving north, and some families were interested in leaving their existing congregations and starting a work in Cumming. Members from the Roswell and Embry Hills churches of Christ were the charter members, and on April 2nd, 1995, the first service was held at the Klub Kids Daycare center under the name of the South Forsyth church of Christ .
