Award winning Zimbabwean Television Journalist, Documentary Film Maker and ITV News Africa producer Hopewell Rugoho-Chin'ono set up Television International Zimbabwe to make documentary films. Hopewell has a degree in Mass Communications, a Masters degree in International Journalism from City University and a Masters degree in Documentary Practice from London's Brunel University. He is a fellow of the prestigious SAID Business School at the University of Oxford. He is the 3rd of only 3 Zimbabwean journalists to be awarded the Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University. Hopewell was the Africa Journalist of the year in 2008, Henry Kaiser Foundation award for HIV & Aids Reporting in Africa and The 2009 USAID Communication Award. He was nominated for a Rory Peck award in 2010 and a BANFF World Documentary award in Canada. State of Mind his latest film looking at mental illness in Zimbabwe is on the festival circuit.
