Welcome to First Congregational Church! In 1988 we began meeting in the home of one of our families. As our church grew we moved to the old Police Club on South Street (now torn down). Then we met together in the Dental School at Dalhousie University. In 1993 we built our present building on Seldon Street in downtown Halifax. We are a Bible preaching and believing Evangelical Church that has a heart for people, especially University Students. Our Vision: To glorify God as believers of Jesus Christ through worship, by growing in community and by making disciples through the message of the Gospel.
