Then, in 1982, John made the move to join the Jefferson-Pilot owned WHSL-FM in Wilmington, North Carolina. After two years of doing mornings on the coast, John arrived in Augusta in April 1984. For the next 10 years, John worked for WZNY (SUNNY 105). During his tenure at SUNNY, John was, at times, the Morning Show Co-Host, the Mid-Day Persona
