Traverse City International Affairs Forum

Description

The International Affairs Forum at Northwestern Michigan College brings outstanding global affairs experts to Traverse City, Michigan. Past speakers include diplomats, scholars, journalists, and thought leaders like Steven Pifer, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine; Susan Goldberg, former editorial director of National Geographic; Rajmohan Gandhi, author, peace activist; among many others. Events are held at the Dennos Museum Center Milliken Auditorium at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. IAF is a member affiliate of the World Affairs Councils of America, a network dedicated to educating and engaging Americans on the critical global issues of our times. IAF works with area schools and supports initiatives that help today’s students become better aware of the world around them. IAF events are free to current students and educators. IAF supports local student teams in Academic WorldQuest™ .
