Welcome to the Life After ECT Channel! This journey began in 2015 with a few video essays I made about my experience being disabled by electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) at a young age. It took me years to find the words to describe what happened to me, and my hope was that by sharing my story, I can help rasie awarness and help others understand their experiences and find their road to recovery. In 2023 Life After ECT Inc. became a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for those disabled by electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) through advocacy, education, and research.
