Description
The BLD Community Bukas Loob sa Diyos (BLD) Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community is a private association of the lay faithful approved by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines. The BLD Community started in June 1985, in Manila, Philippines--which is now the center of its international organization. The BLD Community aims to empower the lay faithful in evangelizing, promoting the Kingdom of God among individuals, couples, and families through the various renewal programs. It endeavors to form BLD districts throughout the world to advance the BLD Community’s purpose and its charism - in shepherding, pastoral care, worship, witnessing and advocacy for poverty alleviation. The Community’s domicile is located at the BLD Covenant House and Retreat Center, Piela, Sampaloc III, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, with its Secretariat Office in Metro Manila.
