Kids Music Company has been creating music to help children learn for over 30 years. Music is a powerful vehicle for learning and, through music, kids can develop skills in other essential areas. Music motivates kids to move, and movement is essential to build the brain and the body. When music and lyrics are added to movement kids develop a sense of steady beat, and language understanding is supported. Sequences develop memory, and eye tracking develops when moving or using props in three dimensions. Music is fun and when shared with others, it can build a culture of sharing and inclusion where children grow social confidence. And this is just the beginning… Repetition supports brain development so we aim to make our music enjoyable for grownups too as they support their kids’ learning.
