DOUGLAS LIM is one of Malaysia’s most celebrated entertainers, known for his sharp wit and dynamic performances. For over 25 years, he has excelled in comedy, acting, music, and broadcasting. Best known as the King of Malaysian Comedy, he gained fame in Kopitiam before expanding into film (Polis Evo 3, Don Dukun), TV (Homecoming), and musical theatre (Lat Kampung Boy). In 2018, he starred in Thicker Than Water, Malaysia’s first off-Broadway production. A stand-up powerhouse, he founded the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) and performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Also an accomplished musician, he composed for TV and stage, winning the Malaysian Video Award. His viral political parodies during the pandemic earned him the King of Parody title from the Malaysia Book of Records.
