Description
Founded in 1913, Intermountain Jewish News (IJN) is a distinguished weekly newspaper that provides an independent editorial voice to Jewish communities worldwide. With a geographic focus on Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and the US at large, the IJN also covers events in Israel and across the globe. The company prides itself on its long-standing family ownership, with Miriam Harris Goldberg as the editor and publisher, and Rabbi Hillel Goldberg serving as executive editor.
The IJN offers its readers a variety of unique products and services. In addition to its weekly publication, the company releases special editions approximately once a month, including L'Chaim magazine in fall and spring, and Generations magazine in summer. Every five years, a commemorative anniversary magazine is published, with the most recent marking their 110th anniversary in 2023.
As a member of the American Jewish Press Association (AJPA) and the Colorado Press Association, the IJN holds a significant position in the industry. Their key differentiator lies in their unwavering dedication to providing comprehensive news coverage and insightful editorial content to Jewish communities, contributing to a rich understanding of current events and cultural developments. The IJN is more than just a newspaper - it's a trusted source and an integral part of the communities it serves.
