I'm Ryan Troy, a portrait and headshot photographer based in Columbus, Ohio. I shoot real clients, run a photography studio, create products for photographers, and I've learned a lot along the way. This channel is about the part of photography that happens after you buy the camera. Lighting, posing, editing, creativity, business, mistakes, opinions, and what it's actually like building a career as a photographer. You'll still see gear when it matters, but I'm much more interested in what we create with it.
