Meeting for worship Sundays at 10:30am. | April 13, 1868 Mountain City Church began on April 13, 1868, when a group of Welsh miners living and working around Frostburg felt called to plant a church. Led by their first pastor, the Rev. Lewis Llewellyn, their vision was simple but profound: to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nearly 150 years later, that same vision still shapes who we are. In August 2009, we welcomed Pastor Thomas Winborn as our lead pastor, praying that God would use him to help us rediscover a gospel-centered, mission-driven identity—making disciples who make disciples for God’s glory.
