I started š§šµš² š„š²š¹š¶š“š¶š¼š» š„š²š½š¼šæšš²šæ because I believe faith deserves a more thoughtful space in the news. In the Philippines, we see this everywhere ā from our vibrant devotions to the beliefs that sustain us daily. Faith, in fact, influences everything from politics to the climate crisis, yet it seldom makes headlines apart from controversy. My academic background ā š š šš¼ššæš»š®š¹š¶ššŗ and š š¦š° ššš¶š®š» š¦ššš±š¶š²š (š„š²š¹š¶š“š¶š¼š»š š¶š» š£š¹ššæš®š¹ š¦š¼š°š¶š²šš¶š²š) ā helps me navigate these complexities. But my goal as a journalist is simple: to help us understand each other better. Beyond reporting, I also teach journalism at two Catholic universities.
