WHERE WE ARE 1429 Saint Marys Road Junction City, KS 66441 History The First Christian Church of Junction City, Kansas was founded in 1860 by G.W. Hutchinson and F.M. Brannick with 13 members who eventually passed on by 1894. In 1905 the church was reorganized with 26 members meeting in a hall downtown. They purchased a small church building on the corner of Fifth and Adams streets in 1906, which they moved to the corner of Eighth and Madison in 1907. In 1922 the church building was torn down and a new sanctuary was built to accommodate the growing membership. By 1952 the church had grown to 360 members and two worship services were needed.
