KTTC News, based in Rochester, MN, is an award-winning NBC-affiliated local television station leading the market in southern Minnesota, northern Iowa, and western Wisconsin. It has been serving the Rochester-Austin-Mason City television market since its inception in 1953. A pioneer in the broadcasting industry, KTTC News was the first television station in southern Minnesota, originally known as KROC-TV.
KTTC News operates the local FOX affiliate, KXLT-TV FOX 47, and produces over 40 hours of local news broadcasts each week. The station also hosts a daily one-hour prime time newscast on FOX 47. Additionally, it is home to Rochester's CW network and offers a variety of multicast networks, including HI, CourtTV, and JusticeTV. Through KXLT, it provides channels such as MeTV, LAFF, ESCAPE, Quest, and GRIT.
