Black Poetry is dedicated to creating opportunity for marginalized voices. We want to give voices to those that don't have one. We are looking for strong voices, that speak from the Black experience. Black Poetry seeks out authenticity and speaking from experience - our goal is to create a space where Black artists can shine and showcase their poetry to the world. Black Poetry seeks to capture the culture of poetry and we are looking to build a community - a strong network of artist that want to create change - and not just talk about it. Black Poetry focuses on artist that are overlooked or unheard of/underground we want to be the change we want to see.
