Description

Every year since 1997, the University of St. Thomas Center for Irish Studies has awarded the Lawrence O'Shaughnessy Award of Poetry to a prominent Irish poet. Interviews of many of these poets have been recorded for showing on the Twin Cities Regional Cable Network/Cable Channel 6, and now some are being made available for online viewing. The poets were interviewed. by Patrick O'Donnell, Professor of English at Normandale College, and the programs were coordinated by the Directors of the Center for Irish Studies, Jim Rogers and Dr. David Gardiner. The videos were produced/edited by Dave Carlson at St. Paul Neighborhood Network (SPNN).
