Description
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is a significant heritage in Singapore which is the home for lots of animals. However, irresponsible littering, spitting and feeding of animals not only destroy the ecosystem in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, but also encourage the animals to leave their habitat to look for food. Litters were found are the foot of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and we need to bring in more public awareness to eliminate this problem. The Bukit Timah Wildlife Network, a partnership between Bukit Timah CC YEC, government agencies (Nparks, NEA and AVA) with educational institutions aims to educate the public on-site on the importance of not feeding the wildlife, especially monkeys, when visiting the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
