Established in 1982 by Malrite Communications Inc, WFLX FOX 29 has since been a significant player in the media industry of South Florida. Based in West Palm Beach, the television station first gained recognition as a premier movie station and soon became one of the nation's most successful independent stations. In 1985, it embarked on a new journey as an affiliate of the FOX Television Network, contributing immensely to the network's growth and success.
