From the roof of a snack shack at the 82nd Avenue Drive-in Theater, Founding Pastor Dale Galloway shared his dream of creating a church where anyone, regardless of their past, could find hope and belonging. For the first ten years, New Hope was a church on the move. Meeting in daycares, gyms, movie theaters, and at Warner Pacific College, the church embraced its motto: “Pioneers, not settlers.” As the congregation grew, Pastor Dale reminded everyone, “It is not the size nor the site that makes a church great, but the Spirit of God’s love.” In 1981, New Hope opened its first build | Who We Are New Hope Church Church is one location in an expanding church family that currently includes: All City Church in Portland Beaver
