I work as one of the few full time, professional Bee Farmers in the UK. I look after my honeybees in the heart of the National Forest in the midlands of England, centered around Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, England. Keeping honeybees is one aspect of my business the other is training. I am an advocate for honeybees and other pollinators. I spread the word by providing training to start up bee keepers, intermediate and professional beekeepers. I provide a "School for Bees" scheme which as the name suggests is a scheme where a school can have a hive on the grounds and the children learn about bees and the environment. In the scheme we build hives, harvest honey and jar it for sale for school projects.
