Homestead In The West

Description

Welcome to a Homestead in the west. I’m Emilie, and I live in West Wales. After three years of turning a piece of land into a home, the foundations are finally in place and it feels like I can start living the life I’ve been dreaming of, building a sustainable homestead. In this next chapter, I’ll be learning to live off the land, growing and preserving my own food, and cook wholesome meals from scratch, using simple, local ingredients and what grows here in West Wales, paying attention to what we eat, how it’s made, and where it comes from. Along the way, I’ll also be exploring my passions from beekeeping, flower farming, willow weaving, sewing, and more. My dream is to one day open a small farm stand to share the things I grow and make here, and to host willow-weaving workshops and retreats here on the land too.
