The Van Doren Metal Art Workshop culminates over 50 years of combined experience. As a father-and-son team, we bring a deep passion for metal art, with expertise spanning forging, casting, soldering, and welding. For the past two decades, we’ve focused on creating large-scale corporate and public metal art installations and stunning water features. Today, we continue to craft commissioned pieces here in Mexico. Over the years, we’ve been inspired by the growing interest of family and friends in learning the art of metalworking. This enthusiasm motivated us to take the next step in our artistic journey: opening our studio to the public through the Van Doren Metal Art Workshops. We’re thrilled to share the joy of creating with metal and pass on our knowledge and skills to students eager to explore this incredible craft. Working together in the studio has always been a blast, and we can’t wait to welcome others into this creative space to experience the magic of metal art firsthand.
