I'm a Canadian wife, mother, and substitute teacher, and in 2019 I unknowingly began to Reclaim Jen. A simple google search that I titled "Work From Home" had set me on a trajectory I knew I needed, but didn't know I wanted. That something was online teaching and it sparked joy. The joy I couldn't find any longer in my day job. This channel documents my new journey as an Online ESL Teacher and Applicant Coach with VIPKid, while juggling my day job with managing a home, maintaining a healthy marriage , and my kids' crazy extracurricular schedule. I've found JOY in teaching again. In an amazing platform. With bright, fun, incredible kids and families. This is the best side gig ever!
