Description

Film and Television at The University of Bristol is an academic department whose students also make films. Our internationally renowned researchers provide a broad and academic grounding for our students across history, genre, intermediality and transnational cinema. Additionally, up to 50% of the Units contain practical film-making, with highly experienced tutors and industry experts. We believe this distinctive combination of theory and practice provides a truly unique learning experience for our students. This YouTube page hosts student films, lectures and panels with visiting industry experts, research talks with leading academics in the field of Film and Television Studies, films made by members of our faculty, examples of work by our alumni and our our technical teaching videos among others.
