Welcome to AnkenyFanatic.com! This site was created after Ankeny businessman Jason Loutsch, co-owner of MJ Properties and CycloneFanatic.com, decided that Ankeny needed its own platform devoted to covering high school sports. He hired Dan Holm, longtime sports editor of the Ankeny Register & Press Citizen, to cover the Hawks and Jaguars. We want AnkenyFanatic.com to be the go-to source for high school sports in our booming community. It is our goal to cover the Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial teams like no other source in the industry. We plan to have regular features, as well as updates on the numerous former Ankeny athletes who have taken their talents to the collegiate and professional level
