Flagstaff Christian Fellowship is a gospel-centered church near Northern Arizona Univerisy in the mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona. | Our Story How it all started... In February of 1926, a passenger railcar was moved off the mainline and used by the Arizona Baptist Mission to plant a church. W.A. Vanderhoof would be the Pastor. The new church was named the Glad Tidings Chapel Car. In 1932, the church moved to its current site on Beaver Street and was renamed First Baptist Church. The church building underwent a series of expansions in the 1930s and 1960s. In 1977, the church was renamed to Flagstaff Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Al Parmenter.
