Description

Bluemont started when five people in their twenties sensed a call to move to Manhattan to reach and raise up others to make a difference for God. Despite their inexperience, other people's lives were changed, and a church was born. From the start, the vision was way more than a building; it was about people. The idea was to help people discover God’s purpose for their lives and advance His kingdom into every area of life. We took the name "Bluemont" from Bluemont Hill, a prominent local landmark, and from Bluemont Central College - the Christian school started by Manhattan’s abolitionist founders that became K-State. It reflects our belief that we are called to be a city on a hill that equip
