Learn — Christ the King Newton Menu Welcome Welcome to Christ the King Church Newton. We belong to the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) , one of the largest and fastest growing Presbyterian denominations in North America. We were started in 2010 by a group of people from Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Cambridge who sought to start a gospel-believing church in the suburbs of Newton and Wellesley. We became a particular church in 2019. We are connected to several other churches throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island via the Southern New England Presbytery , the regional organization of churches belonging to the same denomination.
