The Native Seed Pod is a podcast that celebrates the diversity and beauty of Native seeds, soils, and Indigenous foods. From planting songs to cultural foodscapes, we highlight the importance of protecting and restoring agrobiodiversity and food sovereignty to sustain resilient communities. We seek to be an antidote to the monoculture of the mind, by asking: What seeds have we inherited? What seeds have we lost and are revitalizing? What seeds are we planting to nourish the future? This is a fertile place to explore thinking about Indigenous sciences and the physical and poetic seeds needed to renew the health of the Earth at this critical time in history.
