Steve Steve was born and raised in western New York. Late in his undergraduate degree, he discovered the wonderful worlds of nature and science. Since graduating, Steve has held various botanical positions in between NY, IL, and UT. He has also spent way too much time in school! After two years and 30 Master’s credits, he decided to leave his program in fresh water ecology for a molecular biology graduate program at a different university. When Steve isn’t working on the podcast (or bogged down with school work), he’s usually hiking with a few field guides in tow.
