The Gatepost is an independent student-run newspaper that has been serving the Framingham State University community since 1932. As the university's primary source of news, The Gatepost is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and relevant information to its readers, which include students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the local community. The newspaper publishes 12 issues per semester, with each issue released on Fridays.

The Gatepost not only provides news but also serves as an avenue for students to express their views on various social, political, and academic issues. With a dedicated staff of approximately 25, the newspaper is committed to maintaining a high level of journalistic integrity. The Gatepost operates from its office located on the fourth floor of the McCarthy Center, room 410.
