Description
Rimi Riga Marathon is the leading long-distance running event in the Baltics! The Riga Marathon began in 1991 and has grown into the biggest running celebration in the Baltics. In 2026, it set a new all-time record with 46,313 registered participants from 116 countries, bringing together recreational runners, families, children and world-class elite athletes in the heart of Riga. The next Rimi Riga Marathon takes place on May 15–16, 2027. Runners can choose the marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and DPD Mile, while Kids' Day welcomes the youngest participants. New courses are being prepared for the 2027 edition, and registration is now open. See you in Riga on May 15–16, 2027!
